With Deep Gratitude
In the 1940s, my great-grandfather, the late Shri Bhausaheb Balaji Dhotre, began our family's textile journey in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. He built an era of prosperity, hard work, and abundance. However, over time, the next generations chose new paths.
They embraced a modern lifestyle, and slowly, the textile business became part of our family history.
In 2024, when I returned to India, I travelled to Yeola with my parents and aunt. I grew up hearing stories—about our family, about textiles, about Paithani. But standing there, beside the looms, something clicked that I had never imagined.
I could hear the music of handlooms and the rhythm of advancing technology together. One rooted me in the past, the other time-lapsed me to the future... And, somewhere between the two, Namaste Paithani was born—out of reverence for the art and the artisans.
